About Tunalı Street

 

  Hello everyone!!!
Last weekend we went to Tunalı as a group. And today we are going to introduce this beautiful street to you.


Tunalı is a street in Ankara which is very popular among teenagers. There are many cafes, restaurants, parks and theaters in Tunalı. Basically whatever you want! 
Firstly, let's talk about "Who is Tunali Hilmi Bey?" 

He was a very important person in history. He represented Bolu in the first parliament of the Turkish Republic in 1920. He worked for women's and employees' rights. He participated in the Liberty War. 

Kuğulu Park

                                                         

 We started our trip in Tunalı with Kuğulu Park. Kuğulu Park is the most famous park in Tunalı. If you visit there, you should definitely sit on a bank and watch the swans.You can always see television reporters doing a street interview. Also a couple of scenes of the television series ''Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever'' were filmed here.
                                    

                                   

     We can also add that there are many restaurants near Kuğulu Park you may enjoy.  Kıtır is one of them. We choose to introduce Kıtır because it's an old and enjoyable pub and restaurant. It's one of the symbols of Tunali.

           

Korelee

 

Then we went to the amazing Korean restaurant which is called Korelee. This place is very popular in Ankara and there are always lots of people.

We recommend you to try chicken and noodles. But be careful because their dishes are really spicy. Let's take a look at what we ate there.

Also people can get dressed in Korean traditional clothes and they can take pictures there.

 Let's continue our trip with Rolls'n Smiles.

It is a place where you can eat incredible ice creams. 
But what is their speciality?
In this place you can choose your own flavours such as Oreo, strawberries, salted caramel, etc. Then they smash and mix them into the ice-cream. 

Basically you make your own ice cream. We recommend this place too. 

Sinasi Theatre

 

 Near Tunalı there are lots of theatres and the Şinasi Theatre is one of them.
Şinasi Theatre has been open to performances since 1988. The name comes from İbrahim Şinasi who is the starter of the Turkish theatre. "Şair Evlenmesi" (Poet Marriage) is the first Theatre in the Turkish history and it's Şinasi's most famous work. Moreover, Sinasi and the goverment theatres nearby  are quite cheap . As a student you can go there easily...
